Accreditations & Affiliations
Baylor’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The Commission has approved Truett to offer the following degree programs: Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Theological Studies (MTS), Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM), Master of Art in Contextual Witness and Innovation (MACWI), Master of Art in Theology, Ecology, and Food Justice (MATEFJ), Master of Art in Theology and Sports Studies (MATSS), and Doctor of Ministry (DMin).
In keeping with Baylor University's motto (Pro Ecclesia, Pro Texana), heritage, and commitments, Baylor's George W. Truett Theological Seminary affiliates with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. Truett Seminary also intentionally reaches out across denominational and geographical lines in its ongoing effort to equip God-called people for gospel ministry in and alongside Christ's Church.
Additionally, Truett Seminary is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals and an associate member of the Baptist World Alliance.
