Our Team
Truett’s Committee on Diversity and Belonging (CDB) began as a small group of caring faculty members who gathered and collaborated on how Truett Seminary might better address the needs of marginalized groups within its spaces. Under the direction of Steve Reid, Baylor's vice provost of Diversity and Belonging, this committee was formed to support Truett Seminary by listening to and advocating for underrepresented voices in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As an officially appointed body, the CDB committee can be found below. Additionally, the CDB invites many other faculty and staff members to meet with our committee as well as a representative from each student organization to serve and support the work.
