Baylor's Truett Seminary offers a number of prestigious endowed lectures each year given by leading scholars in their discipline. All of these lectures are free and open to the public. More information about each of the lectures is provided below.
Parchman Endowed Lectures
The Parchman Endowed Lectures bring world-renowned theologians to the Baylor campus and enable George W. Truett Theological Seminary to make a significant contribution to the realm of theological dialogue and the life of the church. All events are free and open to the public and will be held in the Paul W. Powell Chapel at Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
W.C. Dobbs Endowed Lecture
The W.C. Dobbs Endowed Lectureship was established in 1995 by Dr. W.C. Dobbs of Mobile, Alabama, a retired professor of Christian ethics at Mobile College of Mobile, Alabama.
Willson-Addis Endowed Lecture
The Willson-Addis Endowed Lectureship recognizes the Willsons and their daughter, Oragene Willson Addis, and examines practical Christianity. The lecturer may be from any branch of the Judeo-Christian tradition.
