Scholarship FAQ
Please reference the Truett Scholarship Webpage for a listing of applicable scholarships.
The number of full tuition scholarships available varies from year to year depending upon funds available.
You are encouraged to still apply with the following in mind: Take into considerations if there are any other deadlines for your entry term. If not, consider changing your entry term in order to be eligible for Truett Competitive Scholarship consideration. Ex) if you missed the Spring scholarship deadline, consider moving your application to a Summer or Fall start. Reach out to Truett_Admissions@Baylor.edu with requested changes to your entry term. No scholarship applications will be accepted after the final deadline.
The full tuition competitive scholarship covers tuition costs. The student will still be responsible for expenses outside of tuition, including books, housing, and insurance (required for international students). Incoming students who are a member of any Baptist church may initially qualify for the Baptist Certification Scholarship once they have had their church sign off on the Baptist Church Certification Form.
In subsequent years, in order to continue to receive the Baptist Certification Scholarship, students must be involved with a Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT), or Texas Baptists, church and have that church sign off on the Baptist Church Certification Form.

No, the competitive full and partial tuition scholarship application is only open to incoming students.
