Beginning Fall 2027 pending final approval from accrediting agencies
Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary is expanding its presence in North Texas with a new instructional site in Dallas, Texas, located at Park Cities Baptist Church.

Truett Dallas will offer the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, and Master of Theological Studies degrees through seminar-style, in-person instruction. The programs are designed for students who desire rigorous theological education while remaining rooted in their ministry and community contexts. Doctor of Ministry cohorts will also be offered.
Courses at Truett Dallas will be taught by practitioner-scholars who bring together theological expertise, academic excellence, and firsthand ministry experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth community. Students will also have opportunities to learn from faculty from Truett’s Waco campus through guest lectures and other shared learning experiences, connecting the Dallas classroom to the broader Truett Seminary community.

The Master of Divinity degree at Truett Seminary intends to provide graduate theological education that is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ and consistent with historic Baptist commitments to prepare persons to carry this gospel to the churches and the world.
The MACM degree at George W. Truett Theological Seminary provides a basic foundation of study in biblical and theological disciplines, while also preparing students for ministry within and alongside the church. The degree consists of a minimum of 60 hours and normally requires at least two years of full-time study to complete.
The Master of Theological Studies program is designed to provide students with both a general theological education and the opportunity to concentrate on subjects important to their interests or ministries. It consists of a minimum of 48 credit hours and normally requires at least two years of full-time study to complete.
Truett Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry degree connects missional passion to serious academic research in ministry practice. Seminars are kept small to allow for high-quality discussion and deep spiritual relationships within cohorts and with faculty.
