"I entered the Spiritual Direction Training Program at Truett because I wanted to keep being sharpened by other ministers who were Christ-centered, who focused on forming disciples, and who listened well to others—and especially to Christ. In this program, I found that rare gift that I sought, and I also found a respite I didn't know I needed. Our classes turned into times of deep fellowship, and I carry that fellowship with me as I minister. Spiritual direction training isn't for everyone, but it can be a great fit for many because we can never get too good at listening to God, who is sometimes mysteriously present, sometimes humorously present, but always present. . . and we can never get too good at listening to our neighbor, who seeks God and who bears God's resemblance." —Stephanie Mettler, CSD
