Advanced Standing Curriculum
The advanced standing joint degree curriculum applies to joint degree MDiv students who have already received the BSW degree. Students in the standard MSW degree program may find their required curriculum here.
The curriculum below applies only to students who enrolled at Truett Seminary after Summer 2019 or later. Current students who enrolled prior to Summer 2019 should visit the Current Student Degree Planning webpage to view their degree plan or visit the Academic Services Offices in Suite 205.
Please note that Advanced Standing students must concurrently enroll in mentoring (MENT 7V00) with their SWO Advanced Internship to meet their 9 required hours of mentoring. Visit the Truett mentoring website for more information.
*Joint degree students must meet with academic advisors from both departments regarding the requirements for each degree. On occasion, degree requirements change and each department grants final approval for their degree program.
