Memory Jora
Program Manager for the Kyle Lake Center for Effective Preaching
Memory Jora serves as the program manager for the Kyle Lake Center for Effective Preaching at Truett Seminary. In her role, she is responsible for championing the center’s mission to centralize minoritized preaching in both aspiring and established preachers. Memory oversees grant-related work which includes budgeting, reporting, managing, and executing all of Kyle Lake Center’s Compelling Preaching initiatives. She is also responsible for the planning and overseeing of annual conferences and other special events sponsored and curated by the center in partnership with different stakeholders such as the Truett community and several other organizations.
Before being called into ministry, Memory worked in both the business and fashion industries. Since then, she has worked in several ministry positions with her primary experience being in youth, college, and women’s ministries. Memory graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. She then went on to receive a Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary.
Memory enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures with her son, Calvin. She also loves trying out new restaurants and coffee shops.
