Thoughts from the First Week of Seminary

From New Student Orientation to Convocation, Truett Seminary’s fall 2026 semester is well underway as we end of the first week of the new school year. This season marks a new chapter as we welcome back faculty, staff, and returning students and open our doors to a new class of students. It is an exciting time at Truett.

As we progress into the school year, some of our new students reflect on what their first week at Truett has been like.

“As an international student from Hong Kong, I was pleasantly surprised with the plethora of ways us incoming students could immediately get involved with the Truett community even before classes started. Whether it is being part of local church small groups, welcomed by upper-class students, or forming personal connections with the staff and faculty, I am thankful for the effort this tiny corner of the Kingdom of God puts in to make us know from the heart that we are part of the family.”
