Blair Prevost, PhD

Blair Prevost serves as the associate director for Truett’s Doctor of Ministry degree. In his role Dr. Prevost works with DMin students through degree completion, with a special focus on the Independent Guided Study portions of the program. Blair works with faculty and staff overseeing the day-to-day operations of the doctoral program to support students’ experience and degree completion. He has worked in higher education for more than 20 years, first as a college minister at Kilgore College and Texas Christian University, then in a variety educational administration roles. Blair is a licensed minister and an ordained deacon. 

Dr. Prevost holds a BA in religion from Samford University, an MDiv from Truett Seminary, and a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Blair and his wife Emily live in Temple, TX where they attend and serve at First Baptist Church. Blair enjoys reading, traveling with his wife, and photography.
