About Dr. Brown
Dr. Hunter Brown is a Louisville Institute postdoctoral fellow at Truett Seminary. Dr. Brown comes to Truett after completing his DPhil in New Testament at Oxford. He is passionate about the study of the New Testament and is particularly interested in the practical theological horizons of contemporary Christian wealth ethics and the integration of people with disabilities into the life of the Church. In 2017, he helped to launch The Banquet Network and has been invested in various expressions of disability ministry. Dr. Brown is a native of Richardson, TX and also has a background in collegiate and professional golf; he was an intern with College Golf Fellowship in 2014-2015 and served as the head men’s and women’s golf coach at Goucher College from 2016-2020.
