Jacob Rohrer

Jacob Rohrer serves as the assistant director of development at Truett Seminary. In this role, he supports fundraising and donor engagement efforts, with a particular focus on the Wesley House of Studies and other strategic initiatives of the Seminary. Prior to joining Truett, Jacob served as Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving at Baylor. He also held roles at Howard Payne University and Dallas Baptist University, where his responsibilities included presidential initiatives, advancement, enrollment, and strategic planning.

A native of Waco, Jacob earned his BBA, MBA, and MA in Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies, with research focused on academic freedom in Christian faith-based higher education. He and his wife, Candace, have two young sons, Hudson and Bennett, and are members of Highland Baptist Church in Waco.
