Stefene Lister

Stefene Lister serves as the administrative associate at Truett Seminary – Houston. In her role, she provides vital support to the Houston Director and campus operations while helping to maintain strong working relationships with Lanier Theological Library, where Truett Houston is housed. Known for her attention to detail, she is grateful for the opportunity to use this strength to support the mission of Truett Seminary in Houston. With a heart for helping others, she is passionate about seeing people step into their God-given calling and finds joy in helping others access the training, encouragement, and resources they need to thrive in ministry and life.

Stefene graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After graduating, she served in various ministry roles at her local church in California as well as administrative positions at Fuller Theological Seminary before stepping into her full-time ministry as stay at home mom in 2016. In 2022, she and her family relocated to Houston, and in December 2024, she joined the Truett Seminary – Houston team. Stefene enjoys life with her husband and their three children. Together, they serve actively in their local church children’s ministry and love practicing hospitality by hosting friends and family for dinner. She also cherishes time outdoors – especially at the beach – and enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, singing, and playing the ukulele with her nine siblings. A coffee enthusiast who values meaningful conversation, Stefene finds joy in connecting deeply with others and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired.
