Tammy Sailer
Financial Administrator
Tammy Sailer serves as the Financial Administrator for Truett Seminary. In her role, Tammy serves as the primary point of contact, subject matter expert, and liaison regarding the processing of all business activities for faculty, staff, and partners, responding to requests, and providing guidance in appropriate procurement, business controls, and processes to assist Truett leadership. Responsibilities include proactively anticipating business needs and executing procurement of goods, services, and expenses on behalf of faculty, staff, and students while ensuring compliance with the University's policies and procedures, non-profit accounting practices, and federal and state guidelines. Tammy began her career at Baylor University in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Tammy graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently completing her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) from Johns Hopkins University.
Tammy and Travis, along with their dog, Abbey, and their cat, Prince Pearson, live in Waco and love spending time with family. Travis retired from TXDoT in IT in 2015 and now writes on success principles. Tammy is the proud mother of two sons who reside in Woodway and her daughter who resides near Austin. She has two amazing granddaughters who love to play basketball. Tammy and Travis’ home church is First Methodist Church of Waco.
