Wendy Cox
- Online Certificate Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
Wendy Cox serves as the Online Certificate Program’s coordinator at Truett Seminary. As coordinator, Wendy works to ensure that the program runs smoothly with the highest possible level of responsiveness, hospitality, and service to students and fellow staff. Wendy assists with recruitment, enrollment, and retention, including a variety of administrative tasks that support these program goals. She loves this program for the way it invites church and ministry members into a more robust life of faith for themselves and for those they serve.
Wendy graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in education. After 25 years working as an educator, she earned a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) degree from Baylor University. Afterwards, she worked in the healthcare sector designing and facilitating clinic-based programs and partnerships aimed at community well-being, including chef-led cooking groups, gardening, and fitness. More recently, Wendy completed Truett’s Spiritual Direction Program and now offers direction to groups and individuals. She attends Dayspring Baptist Church with her spouse Ben, and together they have two amazing adult children and one curmudgeonly dog. In her free time, Wendy loves cooking new recipes, taking long walks in nature, and having great conversations—so please stop by!
